How much does commercial cleaning cost in Quebec and Ontario?
Price depends on square footage, visit frequency, building type and the level of service expected: restrooms, carpets, windows, periodic floor care. At equal size, an office building and a food processing plant do not carry the same cost per square foot. What are janitorial services?
Janitorial services cover the recurring upkeep of a building: cleaning offices, common areas, corridors and elevators, full restroom disinfection, waste and recycling removal, floor and carpet care, plus supplying sanitary products (paper, soap, bags). At Allstars this can also include an on-site day porter, window cleaning, periodic strip-and-wax and 24/7 emergency service.
How often should a commercial building be cleaned?
An office building with daily occupancy is usually serviced 5 times a week, or 3 times a week when occupancy is lower (hybrid work). Warehouses and low-traffic spaces often work well with 1 to 2 visits a week plus periodic deep work. Clinics, labs and dealerships typically require daily service due to hygiene standards or brand image.
What is the difference between janitorial and building maintenance?
Janitorial work covers recurring interior cleanliness. Building maintenance is broader: snow removal, landscaping, pressure washing, painting, minor repairs, sign replacement and coordination of specialized subcontractors. Allstars delivers both under a single contract, one point of contact and one invoice.
