The information we collect

Information you provide to us. When you fill out our quote or contact form, or when you apply for a job, we collect the information you send us, for example:

• your name;
• the name of your company or organization;
• your email address;
• your phone number;
• the type of building or the nature of your need;
• any other information contained in your message or, for a job application, in your résumé.

Information collected automatically. When you browse our site, certain technical information is collected automatically, including your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. This information comes from our server logs and from cookies (see the cookies section).

Why we collect this information

We use your personal information only for the following purposes:

• responding to your quote requests and communicating with you;
• providing, scheduling and managing our maintenance services;
• processing job applications;
• improving and securing our website;
• meeting our legal and contractual obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising purposes.

Your consent

By submitting your information through the form, you consent to our using it for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our privacy officer, subject to information we must retain to comply with the law or perform an ongoing contract.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. Our site may use:

• necessary cookies required for the site to function properly and securely;
• audience measurement cookies (Google Analytics) that help us understand how our site is used so we can improve it. These cookies are only activated after you consent.

Retention period

We keep your personal information for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy and to meet our legal obligations. When it is no longer required, we securely destroy or anonymize it. Unsuccessful job applications are kept for 12 months and then destroyed.

Security

We implement reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption of communications with our site (HTTPS), restricted access to information and security practices on our systems.

Your rights

Under Québec law, you have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• request the correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous;
• withdraw your consent to its use;
• request the portability of certain computerized information (receive it in a structured, commonly used technological format);
• request, in certain cases, the cessation of dissemination of information or the de-indexing of a hyperlink.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).

Confidentiality incidents

In the event of a confidentiality incident (for example, unauthorized access to your information) presenting a risk of serious harm, we will take the necessary measures to limit its consequences, notify the Commission d'accès à l'information as well as the persons concerned, and record the incident in our register.

Our site may contain links to other sites or embedded content (for example a map or a video). These third-party sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. We invite you to review their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page. In the event of a significant change, we will take reasonable steps to inform you.
